Pricing Policy
This policy explains how SyncMyCart is priced, how the multi-store discount works, and what happens to your pricing when you add a store, remove a store, or change a plan. It forms part of our Terms of Service and is referred to in Section 7.2 of those Terms.
1. Pricing Is Per Store
SyncMyCart is priced per store. Each store you connect holds its own subscription plan and is billed separately through Shopify. Current plan rates are shown on our pricing page.
2. Multi-Store Discount
If you operate more than one store on SyncMyCart, those stores are treated as a multi-store group and the multi-store discount applies.
Within a group, the store on the highest-priced plan is charged the full price for that plan. Every additional store in the group receives a 20% discount on the price of its own plan, whatever plan that is.
The discount is applied to the plan each store actually holds. It is not a discount on one plan applied to another, and it does not change which features a store receives โ a store on Pro receives Pro features at a discounted price, not Premium features.
Example
A group of three stores, one on Premium and two on Pro, is charged the full Premium rate for the Premium store and the discounted Pro rate for each of the two Pro stores. If the Premium store were removed from the group, the highest-priced remaining store would move to full price and the other would keep the discount.
3. Adding, Removing, or Changing a Store
Because group pricing depends on every store in the group, a change to any one store can change the price payable on the others. This happens when you install a new store, uninstall a store, or upgrade or downgrade a plan on a store already in the group.
When that occurs, we recalculate the group and issue a revised charge for each affected store. A revision may increase or decrease the amount payable on a store you did not change.
4. Approving a Revised Charge
Shopify requires the merchant to approve any change to a recurring charge. We cannot change an existing charge on your behalf. A revised charge therefore does not take effect until you approve it in your Shopify admin, and the previous amount continues to be billed until you do.
Where a revision arises from a change you have made, you agree to approve it within 30 days of being notified. Until it is approved, the affected store may be billed at less than the price payable for the configuration you are operating.
If a revised charge remains unapproved more than 30 days after notification, we may remove the multi-store discount from that store, disable plan features the revision relates to, or suspend the account. We will give notice before taking any of those steps. This is set out in Section 7.2 and Section 9 of the Terms.
5. What This Policy Does Not Restrict
You may change or cancel any plan at any time, through the app or your Shopify admin, and we will not treat a genuine plan change as a breach of these Terms. This policy governs only the approval of revised charges that follow from a change you have made.
Price changes we initiate ourselves are not covered by the 30-day approval requirement. Those are governed by the notice provisions in Section 7 of the Terms.
6. Proration and Credits
Shopify prorates plan changes. Moving to a higher-priced plan mid-cycle is charged on the difference and the days remaining in the cycle rather than at the full new price. Moving to a lower-priced plan mid-cycle produces an application credit against future charges. Proration is applied by Shopify, appears on your Shopify bill, and is outside our control.
7. Trials
Trial length is stated on the pricing page and applies from your first approved subscription. Changing plans does not restart a trial, and a trial is not extended or reissued by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
8. Questions
If a charge or a revision is not what you expected, contact us before approving it and we will explain how it was calculated.
