Question 1

What e-commerce platforms does SyncMyCart support?

Accepted Answer

SyncMyCart supports Shopify, WooCommerce, and Wix on the store side. On the accounting side it supports QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Wave Apps. All connections use secure OAuth authentication.

Question 2

What does SyncMyCart sync to QuickBooks Online?

Accepted Answer

SyncMyCart syncs orders, refunds, customers, and payouts. Every transaction from your store is posted to QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Wave automatically — at the individual order level, not summarized journal entries.

Question 3

Does SyncMyCart have a free plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Simply Free plan is free forever with no credit card required. It includes unlimited orders posted as single-line receipts, gift card support, discounts, and deposit-ready totals.

Question 4

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

Most users are up and running in under 5 minutes. Connect your Shopify store and QuickBooks Online account using one-click OAuth, configure your mapping, and sync starts automatically.

Question 5

How does SyncMyCart handle duplicate orders?

Accepted Answer

SyncMyCart has built-in duplicate detection that prevents orders from being posted to QuickBooks more than once, even if you sync the same date range multiple times.

Question 6

Does SyncMyCart sync Shopify payouts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Payout reconciliation is built in. Shopify payouts are matched and posted to QuickBooks so your books reconcile without manual spreadsheet work.

Question 7

How are taxes, shipping, and discounts handled?

Accepted Answer

SyncMyCart maps taxes, shipping charges, and discounts to the correct QuickBooks accounts automatically. No manual line-item entry required.

Question 8

Is SyncMyCart secure?

Accepted Answer

Your Shopify and QuickBooks connections use OAuth — SyncMyCart never stores your Shopify or QuickBooks passwords. Your SyncMyCart account is protected by a verified email and password.

Question 9

How is SyncMyCart different from A2X or Synder?

Accepted Answer

SyncMyCart posts at the individual order level — not as a summarized journal entry — giving you full transaction detail in QuickBooks. Payout reconciliation and duplicate detection are built in at every plan level.

Question 10

What happens to refunds?

Accepted Answer

Refunds sync automatically. When a refund is issued in Shopify, it is posted back to QuickBooks Online so your records stay accurate without any manual adjustments.
